Region covered: Epping and North Epping • Community Initiatives:
o Epping Men’s Place – In 2012 our branch together with the staff at Epping Community Hub identified a valuable initiative for Epping to have a dedicated meeting place for men. This is a place where they can interact and engage in a range of activities with other men. This initiative became a reality thanks to seed funding of $10,000 provided by North Epping Community bank branch.
o Epping North Public School air-conditioning project – North Epping Community Bank Branch recently partnered with Epping North Public School Parent & Citizens Association and Digital Air Control to install new reverse cycle air conditioning units to the school classrooms. The P & C and North Epping Community Bank Branch shared the cost of $44,000. This is the largest single grant North Epping Community Bank Branch has provided so far.
o Bush Track upgrade – The walking track leading from Boundary Road North Epping to Browns Water Hole and connecting to Terry’s Creek Walk and the various fire trails in that part of Lane Cove National Park is now more accessible. Stage one of the upgrade is now completed. The upgrade was funded with a grant from North Epping Community Bank Branch.
o Epping 2121 Website – This is a website set up and sponsored by the by the North Epping Community Bank Branch for local Businesses, Clubs and Associations to advertise for free. So far the North Epping Community Bank Branch has spent around $7000 towards the set up and maintenance of this website and will continue to pay all on going costs.

On 19 Dec 2016 our local community was rocked by a devastating house fire at 29 Devon Street, North Epping. Just days away from Christmas this family with 4 children under the age of 10yrs were lucky to escape any serious harm, but their new house was destroyed completely. One of our founding shareholders & customers took the initiative to open an a/c with the help of the Epping Community Bank Branch to raise funds to support this family. The Staff of Epping Community Bank branch and the Board of Directors together have contributed $600 towards this worthy cause. The Berowra Community Bank branch who are unrelated to this community were also quick to contribute $300 towards this cause. The family affected are overwhelmed with the support and kindness of people and we are proud to be a part of this fantastic effort.
