We are a not for profit service club dedicated to helping the community through the Lions Clubs International framework! Our club gets involved in humanitarian efforts locally, nationally and internationally. We raise funds & provide services to support children, youth, the elderly & those with special needs in our community. Club membership is fulfilling, fun & a great way to connect with the community.

Surprise morning tea for Lion Elaine On Sat 11th Feb Lions Elaine was presented with a special Certificate of Appreciation by President Lynn and PCC Warren. Elaine loved the flowers & expressed her sincere thanks to all for the love & friendship shown to her over the past years when life hasn't been so kind.

Celebrating Ron's 94th Birthday Ron has been a proud member of Lions for 43 years & until recently he actively contributed to our club BBQs. His skills as our "sausage splitting king" are solely missed. Many club members came together to celebrate Ron's 94th birthday on 4th Feb. Happy birthday Ron

Sanitary Wear Project - Sri Lanka Installation of the first sanitary wear production unit has now been established in the Batticaloa area of eastern Sri Lanka. Further installations are due to be completed shortly in Trinco & Kilinochchi. The project has provided work & training for the local community as well as ensuring access to low cost sanitary wear.

Karonga School Music Room Project – Stage 2 Progress Report Soundproofing & final electrical works commenced. Painting continuing in the Music & Storage Rooms. Progress on track!

Karonga School Music Room Project – Stage 1 Progress Report Major building and electrical works are now almost complete. Today the Lions team are painting the music & storage rooms. Stage 2 will see the installation of the soundproofing, a bi-fold door for the kitchenette, two way window and carpeting. Stay tuned for our next progress report!
