AUCTION THIS WEEKEND! So how do you go about bidding at an auction? 1. Get all your ducks in a row. - talk to your bank / broker and make sure you have approval to borrow and a top figure they will lend you. (this is not 'pre-approval') - really figure out what the absolute maximum is that you will and can pay so you're not stressed out on the day - get your bank prepared so you can transfer the $20,000 deposit electronically on the day, or get a bank cheque 2. Read all of the information provided in the Dropbox link and call Jennifer if you have any questions - Read the Bidding Booklet! 3. Feel free to visit the home again to do a final inspection - check everything! 4. Feel free to call Jennifer and organise a bidding strategy meeting. This can help you feel more confident on the day. 5. Come to the home open before the auction to get comfortable and be prepared - you can even have a sausage sizzle and coffee while you wait 6. Don't be shy, just bid! The only thing that matters is the last bid you make. Either its your top figure and someone else has gone higher, or you are the top bidder. Bidding at Auction is just about being prepared and being confident. It's also very exciting to win your home this way. And the most important thing to remember - have fun!
