This is a group of mates from Christian Brothers College in Lewisham who all had their first drink here in Earlwood Hotel as an underage group in 1969. They were all 15 years old! Middies were 16c in those days so the barmaid thought they were all wonderful when they gave her a 4c tip! A member of the group has since passed away so they come here every year to celebrate their mate, Peter "Joe" Brogan. It was a pleasure seeing you again boys, raise your glass to many more years celebrating mateship and of course, Joe.
