Eaglehawk Recycle Shop is a community enterprise which creates jobs through the sale of secondhand materials.
The Eaglehawk Recycle Shop is a community enterprise which creates jobs through the sale of secondhand materials. The Recycle Shop diverts over 6,000 tonnes of waste from landfill annually and creates employment for up to 20 local people.

A large range of secondhand goods can be purchased from the shop including:

Furniture
Whitegoods
Carparts
Bicycles
Building Materials
Machine Parts
Garden tools
Sports Equipment
Bric-a-Brac
And much more...

Hours of operation are
Monday- Tuesday: 8.30am - 5.00pm
Wednesday: 9.30am - 5.00.pm
Thursday - Saturday: 8.30am - 5pm
Sunday: 10.30am - 3pm
Public Holidays: 10.30am 3.30pm
Closed Christmas Day

Just watched the first episode of the abc's war on waste, it's quite amazing and makes you think. It' worth a watch. The recycle shop has been asked to do similar surveys in the past with the results being similar. Waste is everyone's responsibility no matter what form it is in, food waste or hard waste. How do we combat it?
