Classes are available for all levels of dance experience across all ages from Tiny Tots to Adults. Our teachers are fully qualified professionals, who each bring with them a wealth of both teaching & performing experience, whilst always encouraging creativity, passion, self-esteem & a sense of achievement.

The HDF studio superstar for 2016 is my very own Isabella Koumantakis, if you where at the concert you would already know, I don't enjoy teaching her, as her mum it's very difficult, how hard do I push before she takes it personally and becomes emotional, how much time do I spend with her, when there is a class of other students also asking of my attention, if she is in the centre , is it fair? they are all questions I ask myself daily. So I have invited many guest teachers to come along to HDF, I send her to many workshops, classes and eisteddfods where I dont know the teachers personally, the adjudicators dont know me, and she places every time, This year a first or second at every eisteddfod, the RAD most improved award for inter foundation, and beautiful comments by all guest teachers, she is only 13 and at this stage of her life , she lives to dance and enjoys every minute on stage and in class, surrounded by beautiful friends at the studio, her second home. So as her mum yes it's stupid to award her a full scholarship but as her mum I should also encourage and support her every day and reward her for her efforts. She was always told she would never receive an award so It was beautiful to surprise her and I'm also allowed to be her proud mum. Congratulations Isabella, shine bright, aim high and own it.

Most improved 2016 is Paris Greenwich Dadaniov , a truely gifted young ballerina with those amazing legs and feet, finding her way this year in all genres of dance, Paris is our beautiful soloist in her modern lyrical group piece, and stand our performer in all troupe jazz and classical teams, and just a beautiful student who knows when to have fun and when to commit, listen and learn, Congratulations Paris it is truely a pleasure to teach you each week.

Our studio spirit award, awards the students who shines HDF, wears the purple proud , includes all her friends in all she does and separates herself form what is sometimes a competitive environment, Audrey Pfeiffer does it all. After attending classes in LA with our dance tour trip earlier this year Audrey has found the confidence to excel, push herself to the front and believe she can do it. Congratulations Audrey a fantastic effort this year, can not wait to see where 2017 takes you.

Our 2016 Senior classical scholarship winner this year was awarded to Jasmine Wheeler, yet another distinction in her classical exam, a beautiful soloist this year and such a mature performer showing strength and classical poise in all she does, congratulations Jasmine on a much deserved scholarship for the year ahead.

A huge congratulations to our 2016 Scholarship winners, Junior Classical went to the very talented Morgan Fugle, a Distinction in her RAD ballet exam and much success in the last year at eisteddfods with her first classical solo, and her passion for dance, concentration in class and attention to detail makes her our Junior classical Scholarship recipient for 2016. congratulations Morgan !

Thanks to the amazingly talented Amy Campbell , who shared her beautiful lyrical style with some of our juniors over the last four weeks , choreographing a section of our finale for our 2016 concert, the kids love it and have had a ball. They are truly a lucky group to share the love of movement with Amy, can't wait To see it on the big stage !!!!
