Hello, Wushu Family! In this short but necessary post, I'd like to share with all of you a healthy habit which I've been cultivating over a number of years. This habit requires self-discipline but the benefits are manifold! What's this habit I'm promoting, you may wonder... well, I'm talking about the simple but very essential-to-life habit of drinking enough water on a daily basis. I started tracking my water consumption several years ago and let me tell you, it is H A R D work! I found that embracing the habit is easy but keeping up to it is hard! No matter how many glasses of water I consume, it always seems I'm still not inching closer to my targeted amount of water consumption per day! We all know keeping ourselves hydrated adequately is crucial. Did you know that dehydration causes fatigue and tiredness, constipation and digestive problems, weight gain and even the ability to think straight? So the next time you feel tired, fuzzy in the mind or can't seem to work out something in your head, reach for a glass of water! (Don't forget to take a deep breath too...) Here's a diagram I'd like to share on my drinking habit for the past one month: Tip : Using an app is a good way to go, if you need reminders to help you along the way. I personally use WaterMinder® but any other app that does the work will be fine too. So let's all make a conscious effort to drink more water and have our bodies function better! Cheers!
