We are a Modern Australian Restaurant located just off of Blackburn Road. We create delicious food that leaves a long lasting impression on our customers, and pride ourselves in our beautiful selection of boutique wines that are carefully chosen for you. At the Tender Trap we create top quality, unpretentious, beautifully presented food with supreme attention to detail in an atmosphere of ambience and comfortable hospitality. When the basic ingredients are this good the cooking doesn’t need to be complicated. Afternoons or evenings spent at the Tender Trap are a delicious combination of elegant indulgence, good company and a real sense of occasion. Owner’s Chris & Helen Moraitis believe passionately that people should be fussy and that when they come to the Tender Trap, everything from the welcome through to the after dinner coffee should be genuine and as good as it can be. There are many fine dining restaurants in Melbourne but few of this calibre.

Spoil your Mother this year and enjoy lunch or dinner at the Tender Trap for Mother's Day! Feel free to take a look at our Special Mother's Day Set Menu! We will be celebrating Mother's Day on, Sunday the 14th of May. Bookings on Sunday Lunch start from 12noon and Dinner from 6pm. The cost of Dinner is $75 pp for a 3 course meal, with drinks not included. If you haven't had time to make plans already, there are still bookings available for you to spoil the one you love.
