Is your Falcon clunking between Drive and Reverse? That doesn't mean it's the transmission every time! Proper diagnosis shows all three diff bushes are kaput.. Why go to a Ford dealer and walk out thousands of dollars out of pocket? For the same job, you can pay much less- using quality bushes and the car will only be out of action for a few hours saving you time aswell.

The oil starvation resulted in burning the forward and coast clutches, blocking the lubrication ports and melting the plastic thrust washers.

Looking to strengthen your T700/4L60E/4L65E? Here are some upgrades that we fit - - The Zpack stops the 3-4 clutch burning out, with its gpz friction material and single side clutch system - it holds on! - The Corvette 2nd gear servo upgrade is a no brainer in any 4 speed GM transmission, with a larger surface area it really helps the band clamp down on the drum on the 1-2 shift. Couple this with an Alto wide band for better results. - The Beast shell is another no brainer, with a thicker neck and stronger material - it doesn't break when under the stress of a heavy right foot. Not to mention we recommend Transgo products - reprogramming kits for the valve body, pump components and clutch spring kits.
