20 kg Chainsaw (bebo 125cc)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0AhXYY1Rqg ANCESTOR OF THE PARTNER C6 SWEDISH SAW. Personal saw history: This saw has not runned the last 20 years....as far as i know....It belonged to my wife's grangfather at the time and have no needs for it.It just takes up space in the garage now and is in the way....a donation to the museum, thanks to Mvh Leif...JARVO CITY SWEDEN. A RARE FIND..The first chainsaw manufactured in Sweden. The company, later to be purchased and became the Partner AB MOLNDAL, SWEDEN. This saw is linked to DJ Smith who founded the Hornet Industries Ltd. Upon one of his business exchange trip to Europe where he also met with Andreas Stihl, The founder of "STIHL" chainsaws. Prior to WWII Smith had signed contracts with the German government that included the purchase of Stihl chain saws in exchange for Canadian lumber. Germany did not want Canadian currency. Mr Smith had been doing field modifications to the saws including a dual oil and gas tank and a simpler helper handle. They copied the German chain and made their own bars. When the war broke out in 1939 and he could no longer get chain saws he used the Stihls as patterns and produced his own saws which he sold until 1941 then sold the rights to Reed Prentice. They held the rights for two years and sold them back to the factory contingent that formed Industrial Engineering Limited in 1943. IEL....Well!!!!! (THAT'S ANOTHER STORY COVERED WITHIN THE IEL COMPANY HISTORY). The Be-Bo was a Swedish copy and was introduced in 1948. I am not sure who was first, but they have the same style. I have been told that Gustav Holm imported Hornet and then made Be-Bo, but the time frames are not correct. The Mobilco Be-Bo was made here and rebaged to be sold in Australia.
