We were a winner on Melbourne Cup Day. The transport company delivering our shipping container called Tuesday morning to see if we would accept delivery on Cup Day. Since we have been waiting for this to arrive for about 3 months the reply was "sure send it out and do not spare the horses" Our resident transport wrangler Kev was on hand to help unload and do the final check before hand over.
On Sunday the 16th of Oct, we attended the Annual Morris Minor Display Day held at Ormiston State School. It was a great event, well organised and supported well by Morris and BMC members, plus owners of any classic vehicle were welcomed. Over 100 vehicles were on display including two P76's from the Qld club.

After an easy three hour trip down to the big smoke, we had the chance to catch up with some friends at the Qld P76 club meeting last night. On the way home to Adrian and Jenny's we called into the Gateway travel stop chasing fuel and a MacDonald's fix. The console operator was very interested in the cars and commented on having not one but two P76's on the forecourt at once.

Zap Pow and Blam - your back in the 60's, on the lounge room floor watching the 26-inch black and white PYE television. Your sister is hollering blue murder because you turned it over, (manually - no remotes then) from Playschool on the ABC. None of this matters because Adam West has just said those magic words - 'To the Batmobile, Robin'. The latest addition to our 1:43 collection is a Corgi 267 Batmobile. The model has some play damage but is in good original condition considering it is about 50 years old.
