CALDER CANNONS STAR IN DRAFT PICKS TONIGHT On behalf of RAMS , we would like to wish the Calder Cannons top prospects Noah Balta and Mitch Podhajski, good luck for tonight’s AFL draft picks selection!. Talent manager Ian Kyte believes Balta could emerge as the next Patrick Cripps as a big bodied midfielder. Balta is renown for his marking ability and acceleration and played three matches for Vic Metro in the under 18’s. He turns 18 on Monday. Balta recorded impressive results at the AFL draft combine earlier this month, showcasing his natural athletic ability. He was equal seventh in the standing vertical leap at 74cm, seventh in the running vertical jump at 89cm and second fastest of the tall defenders in the 20m sprint with a reading of 3.05 secs. Podhajski, who has emerged as a pillar of the Cannon’s defence and also part of the Vic Metro squad, had increased his output from nine disposals per game last year to an average of 20 this season and, crucially, improved his efficiency by foot. Another valuable attribute is that Podhajski selfless approach into each game, placing a greater emphasis on team success than impressing AFL recruiters. All the best!.

In addition, there will be concessions for properties between $650,000 and $800,000 . The stamp duty for first home buyers will also be abolished in Victoria by July 1st 2017. RAMS COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT Blue Light and RAMS together against bullying. In a unique partnership The Craigieburn Blue Light Disco together with Rams Home Loans, Greater Western Region have come together to prevent the rise of bullying across the northern suburbs. The two have combined to provide a $28,000 program delivered by The Reach Foundation across 14 Primary Schools in Craigieburn, Roxburgh Park and Mickleham. Secretary of Craigieburn Blue Light, Acting Senior Sergeant Dale Wesselman said, “Bullying is a significant social issue, particularly in schools. Engagement with schools indicated emerging concern and there had been an increase in bullying related complaints to Police. The Disco Committee saw the need for early intervention to reduce bullying over a long term period.” The Reach Foundation are currently mid-way through delivering tailored, on site workshops specific to the needs of each school community. Facilitators are not teachers, adults or social workers. They are all young people who bring shared experiences and form an immediate connection with their target audience. A/S/Sgt Wesselman said, “REACH Peer Connections and Positive Behaviours workshops were ideal for what we were after. Their facilities and resources are second to none, and the feedback thus far has been overwhelmingly positive.” Rams Greater Western Region was approached as a funding partner by Craigieburn Blue Light. A/S/Sgt Wesselman said, “We couldn’t have made this project happen without the support from Rams. They have a proven commitment to investing in community and youth programs in this area and are motivated by a genuine interest in building communities. This is a great example of what can be achieved in a partnership between a Business and a Community Group.”
