Fight to save 'ancient' Wheatbelt trees from road upgrade
Should the environment suffer to protect our safety? Main Roads has begun clearing almost 40 hectares of native vegetation lining the York-Merredin Road, claiming that roadside vegetation contributes to more than 37% of road deaths in the Wheatbelt.
