We received an email last night from a lovely family that had recently adopted "Destiny" it was our first time using the GAP program and we couldnt be happier. <3 here is the email below. Hi Michael (& Beau?), Sending this email to update you on Destiny's progress into pet life. She has joined a family of 4, myself, my husband, daughter (8) and son (5). She has been with us since the 14th of December and has settled in really well. Destiny has been wonderful on her leash from day 1 and in learning to be an inside dog, has only had one toilet accident in 3 weeks. We taught her how to negotiate our steep backyard stairs, and she now bounds up and down them with confidence. She has learned to walk carefully on the wooden floors, after a few spills on them trying to go quickly in the first week. The photo's include pick up day (with my daughter in the shot), out walking, in a friends backyard as we used their pool and her bed with her toys. She hasn't given me a moments concern with my children, loving as much pats and attention as she can get. Everyone who meets her loves her gentle nature, and I know it's put the greyhound breed on their radar as a potential future pet.
