If you are blowing fuses on your vehicle it best to get it checked out, putting bigger fuses in won't fix the cause of the problem. A bigger fuse is harder to blow, so instead of the short causing the fuse to blow, the bit of wire where the short is gets extremely hot and melts. Check out the picture below where this happened. One the same note, no fuse at all is also dangerous. If there is a short and no fuse to protect the circuit/battery it can cause melted wiring and occasionally damage to the battery as in photo 2. The fuse is an important safety mechanism, when one blows something is wrong!
