facebook.comIt's with a heavy heart I have to announce that Tony Cudmore, our sales manager here at Moroka.30 is making the big family move to Tasmania and has resigned from his position here at Carrum Downs. He's been a great asset to the business and no doubt many of our customers will miss his excellent service and advise. No doubt I speak for everyone wishing him well and the best of luck with his move. With that in mind, I am now formally making available a full time position for employment at Moroka.30: Are you currently in, or looking to join the hunting industry? Do you have a love of the outdoors and a passion for hunting-in particular the mighty Sambar? We have an exciting, challenging and rewarding fulltime positon available as retail store manager at the iconic Moroka.30 head office, retail store and showroom in Carrum Downs Victoria. A suitable applicant will have an inherent passion for the bush and ethical hunting, a thirst for adventure, and the specific gear associated with these unique pursuits, plus the willingness to help others. Whilst a retail store/management/customer service background is preferred-it is not essential. Associated with the role will be development and production of new products, IT and social media promotions, interstate & oversees travel to hunting expos, as well as assisting as part of the team behind the production of hunting TV series “Beyond The Divide”. We are looking for an enthusiastic, easy going and approachable applicant with a willingness to learn and a dedication to perfection in sales and customer service. Hope everyone had a great Australia Day? It's been a busy start to the year for us here with many hunters on the go early both locally and abroad, which is great to see. Tony recently helped out one of our backpack hunting customers Ben with some solid telephone advice on getting geared up with a Hennessey Hamock. We just received this email from Ben, thanks for the feedback, Rob. "Just wanted to send my TOTAL satisfaction with the recent purchase of a Hennessey Explorer Deluxe asym zip and accessories. Taken on 2 backpack bowhunts for Sambar. And haven't had better more comfortable sleeps whilst backpacking. Very happy satisfied customer. One of these days I'll get in-store"
