I have all of my beautiful girlfriends coming into Sydney this weekend from all corners of Australia for a little celebration and I'm so excited! We have been friends since we were little and now with little kids of our own, it is pretty exciting when we all come together again. A day in the life of a stylist: morning tea with the gorgeous ladies from @ivylaneagency to view some beautiful new product. On to a meeting with a client at @urban_couture_design to confirm rug selection and the details of the living room we are working on. Off to another showroom to confirm the leg stain for a sofa for another project. Quick sand which behind the wheel. Pick up carpet samples for client meeting tomorrow. Pick up grout for a bathroom/laundry project and drop to site. Inspect installed blinds on a job site and finish the day by hand delivering cushions to a customer. I spend each working day running to the finish line to get to day care pick up by closing time...I think I make it every day puffing with two minutes to spare! Holy moly this is a hectic job but I wouldn't have it any other way. Every single day is as action packed and every day is different...so lucky to do what I love 🤗🤗🤗 Gorgeous fresh flowers from @willow_and_bear sitting pretty on my console at home 🌿

My husband and I don't sit still for long, we are busy kinda people!! Always running a business or planning something and our next big project is building a new home! It's been a dream of mine since I was a child. It's early days, we have plenty of council red tape to get through but plans are finalised and we are in love! I spent the afternoon creating a mood board for our new home, I feel like if I put it out into the universe it will happen 🙏🏻 #councilpleasebekind

I love Thursday's as it's my one day off during the week that I spend with my two year old. Today we did swimming lessons, grabbed a smoothie and then headed to the park. That's exactly how life should be for a two year old. I so often catch myself shuffling him around to showrooms, picking up samples from suppliers and grabbing that last accessory for an install. Poor bugger is going to know the ins and outs of interiors by the time he hits school! So Thursday's are good for us both, I'm relaxed and he is smiling...win win. Here is a moody bedroom look I put together a few weeks ago that is feeling so appropriate for this time of year.

Here's a first...a pic of myself AND my handsome husband Adam (my life coach, counsellor and second opinion on everything) who is also my date this evening! Tonight we attended the red carpet event to unveil the new development, Waterfall by @crown_group...what an event (see my insta stories). Being a creative I find it so interesting to learn about a brand and their ethos, tonight it was all about @caromaaustralia and their vision for the future and the way in which they value water. I know what brand I'll be looking for when I do my next bathroom! #everdropcounts

Hope everyone is easing back into the working week! I often get asked to do kitchen and bathroom styling for my clients when doing their homes and I always tell my clients less is more. There is so much already going on with the tiles, tap ware, joinery and appliances so try and keep the styling restrained. A few simple clusters of beautiful accessories should be all these spaces need 😊

I have been a long time fan of @milksugarmelb . This year I actually thought they were the stand out brand at @life_instyle with the launch of their new collection which is all about being trend-less and timeless - totally up my alley! Think soft muted colours and clean lines...seriously beautiful! I had a bit of a play with some of their beautiful dinnerware today along with my beautiful Mother's Day flowers as shown here.
