Brooks Hire Service commenced in 1979 when Doug Brooks purchased two u/s compressors on bankcard.
Since then, the company has grown, purchasing the first piece of mobile plant in 1982, an 8 tonne JEC crane, by tender, which Doug drove to Eneabba.
At the time of buying the crane, Doug was operating the business from a shed at Eneabba working 18 hour days and living 5 days a week in a humpy at the back of the shed while also working locally as a fitter.
Saturdays consisted of driving to Perth to obtain parts and Sunday was accounts day and returning to Eneabba.
Over the years, the Brooks Hire fleet has grown to more than 1000 pieces of machinery.
Every machine is backed by experienced mechanical staff that are on call 24 hours a day seven days a week.
With a fleet of mine spec four-wheel drives and service vehicles, Brooks Hire can service all our clients’ needs.

Brooks Hire trades only with world leading manufacturers such as Komatsu, Volvo, Hitachi, Amman, Hyundai, Dynapac, Bomag and Hino.
Brooks Hire has a strong allegiance with Komatsu Australia with more than 80% of the fleet being Komatsu equipment.
