Hey friends - Ill be joining an amazing line-up of speakers in Sydney, June 24th & 25th for the The Album Atelier workshop. From the creators "The Album Atelier is Sydney's first multi-speaker workshop and community dedicated purely to the business and art of wedding albums" - I haven't ever seen a workshop targeting specifically album sales, bring in so many artists that almost double their shooting income from being able to supply amazing books to their couples. Ill be sharing how I incorporate albums sales into my workflow along side legend speakers such as Milton Gan , Haley Richardson , Darren Van De Wint , Lara Hotz , Renee Blake , Libby Jeffery and More. Probably going to be one of the most worthwhile workshops (in my opinion) to attend this year. A little snap from this weekend in Bali.

A little while ago my friend Wyn Wiley wrote a post mentioning that for him, one image on instagram just doesn't cut the mustard when it comes to showcasing what it is we have to offer as creatives, or "story tellers" or "documentary photographers" "artists" etc... He was pushing to bring back blogging, as the art of blogging has really died off a little. I personally agree, after he typed that, I said to myself OK I'm going to blog once a fortnight from now on, but then life..... I have decided that onece my new websites drops in a couple of weeks, I am going make blogging a priority again for the very reason that it it much easier for a client (or any viewer for that matter) to really see what it is I can offer when shooting a wedding, much more that a single frame can (unless you are a portrait photographer) - Anyone else on the same page ? #bringbacktheblog
