M&M Massage & Movement Sports Therapy
Description
We are pleased to introduce to you M&M massage and movement sports therapy. We work with all types of athletes and families of all ages Sports Therapy is the assessment of muscular injury and dysfunction of the human body. The aim is to improve muscular strength, flexibility, decrease pain through the application of soft tissue techniques, corrective exercise and rehabilitation to return to a greater level of functional performance.
Sports Therapists are highly trained and are very thorough. Consultations involve a health history, postural assessment, mobility testing, muscle testing, orthopaedic and neurological testing. This assists in finding the underlying causes of the condition and guides the treatment.
Treatments include specific soft tissue techniques such as deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, stretching and cupping. In addition, rehabilitation of the condition is achieved with exercise prescription and stretching.

Client Transformation !! Can you believe this was achieved through only 3 sessions... The number one main focus for any improvement is "CORRECTIVE EXERCISE"! No point getting treatment weekly, to go back home into the gym practicing bad habits and ending up back in the same condition you were first in ! -First we tackled Sarah's upper body focusing on her upper cross posture with tissue work and a tone of stretches for homework ! Once her tissues and her rom was moving much freely we introduced scapulae setting exercises and cervical exercises! Funny enough we only treated Sarah's lower body for Anterior pelvic tilt and excessive lordosis only once but prescribed her yet again with "Corrective Exercises". Fixing joints and problems from the top first, funny enough tend to let the body correct itself with the joints below 🙌🏽 Happy customer = Happy Therapist
