The coffee factree in Camden wants to help this little superhero , as of Friday there will be a donation box in the cafe to make a contribution along with our tips for the months of October and November ! Let's try together to reach the goal for this little man !! Hi everybody, I thought it might be time for a quick update on our superhero Levi. After having gone through the 3 major operations to shrink or remove the Brain Tumor Levi was once again showing signs that the tumor was still misbehaving. The decision was made by the medical staff that Levi should now undergo radiation therapy as the next step in his treatment. He went through six weeks, and all through the six weeks Levi was as strong as an ox, he was still a cheeky little monkey with a thirst for fun. He sat in his wheelchair on his way to the treatment rooms and had races with the staff. He sat in the nurses office making himself known. Levi was such a trooper not complaining at all. The treatment finished and we had hoped that would be the end. But we're not so fortunate. Levi started vomiting and showing all the previous signs, so he was rushed into the hospital once again only to undergo another MRI and further surgery. More cysts have grown onto the tumor. These had to be drained. We have been told that it is probable that cysts will continue to grow and they have left a drain in Levi's head. Levi is still in hospital as he is not eating, he has lost an awful lot of weight and the doctors have now suggested a tablet to hopefully increase his appetite. But until then, he has to stay in hospital until he starts eating. Radiation may have to be repeated. It looks like Levi will endure this nightmare for the rest of his life.
