Our vehicle is climate controlled, and has been fitted out with LED Lighting to simulate daylight during daylight hours. Our custom built cages ensure your pet is as comfortable and secure as possible for the duration of their stay. The air in the truck is not recirculated for health reasons. Stale air is regularly expelled and fresh air introduced via the climate control system. Bio Security is at the forefront of all our thinking.
The animals are fed, watered and exercised as is appropriate to the animals needs for the entire journey.
Our Drivers are in contact with customers at all times. Customers are advised a week before animals are collected of pickup times and days, then they are phoned the night prior to arrival drop off times. another call is placed to our customers when we are 2 hours away confirming we are on schedule.
We are here to make your transport experience as simple and hassle free as possible.

Friday 10th February : Crossing from Melbourne to Adelaide
Timeline Photos
Heatwave Prediction : Thursday 9th - Sunday 12th February 🌞🔥🌞 As you probably are all aware by now there is a heatwave coming 😱 that resembles temperatures last seen on Black Saturday and Ash Wednesday. Our current location is Victoria on route to Adelaide with a full payload. We service Melbourne on Thursday and travel across to Adelaide Friday and back to Melbourne on Saturday. These are the hot days 😬😬😬 and whilst we are moving we stay cool, air flow is everything to keeping our climate control systems running cool ❄️❄️ during a heatwave. We get hot 🔥 when we are parked or stationary for an extended period of time. I ask that everyone be mindful of this as we will only be stopping for about 5 minutes at each designated meet point before moving on. We will endeavour to arrive as per our ETAs and would appreciate the same. We will not be waiting for anyone who is late to arrive 😡 Our Vehicle was made in QLD for the QLD Climate. We have transported through 42-43 degree temperatures before and maintained a steady 25 degrees inside the animal section. We shut down 80% of our internal lighting and close the External Air Intake Vents to prevent warm air entering. This combination along with the Climate Control in full operation works extremely well. The 100mm thick insulated walls, ceiling and floor also play a huge role. Our Livestock Trailor will be empty by midday Thursday with all remaining stock transferred into the Truck. We will be leaving it behind in Ballarat whilst we cross over to Adelaide. This will take a huge load of the truck and make the crossing a bit easier. A big Thankyou tô Deane and Samantha from Sammis Pet Express for baby sitting our little trailor for the weekend. Two coats of wax please 😜 So that's it in a nutshell, it's not an ideal situation but it is manageable if procedures are followed. I wish everyone the very best for the coming days and remember to keep up the water, for you and the animals. Don't get heat stroke while looking after you animals, you'll be no good to them, and I'm speaking from personal experience 😬
