It is with a heavy heart that Clinton and I lost a dear friend and special part of our park yesterday. Ernie passed away yesterday after a very short battle with cancer. He has been part of our Buronga family for as long as we have been here(11 years) He and Thelma Britten came in August 2006 and just sorta never left. We were accepted by them and their family as ours did with them. Christmas's, New Years, Birthdays, So many good times. Ernie has been Clintons right arm for years never missing out helping with wood, rubbish, pets, digging, building, planting, cutting down, putting up, fencing and downing a few green tinny's at the end of the day laughing and chatting about what they had accomplished that day often going home to a dry meal that Thelma had patiently been trying to keep warm for him. lol He will be sadly missed not only by us and our girls who always say he is their adopted pop but so many friends he has made in the park over the last decade. They say you make friends for life and we have lost the life of a friend. Forever in our hearts Ern. Rest in peace old mate. 💔🥀

Just an update on the floods for everyone. Peak has now been changed to 24th nov and at this stage holding our own. Clinton has been busy on the loader around our borders to keep the water at bay. Levee is holding at the front and hoping we will have sites back for Xmas. Will keep everyone posted
