Dr Lukes child clinic is based at 478 Grimshaw Street, Bundoora and offers a complete paediatric service for babies and young children including immunisations, allergy testing, developmental and behavioral assessments and much much more. Everything you need to keep your child happy and healthy. Dr Luke is a paediatrician who has practiced in melbourne for more than 15 years and has attended the delivery of well over 3500 babies. He has capped off his medical training with a Doctorate of Medicine that investigated paediatric acute bronchiolitis, a children's chest disease. His doctorate, and other research work, has been widely published. Dr Sammartino is married with four children.

I am told, that some 16years or so ago, that as a senior trainee in paediatric medicine I saved this boy's (he was then an infant) life at a local hospital. What a handsome and impressive young man he has become (although he doesn't barrack for Carlton) and sincere thanks to his good family for making my day. Best regards to all. L

Dear all, I hope that this note finds you well. Spring has sprung with allergies a plenty. Please pay attention to your children's symptoms and allergy treatments (including Singulair that recently got some bad media press). With Singulair... please be aware of possible behavioral changes (the media revelations are not new). Paediatrician Joe De Zordi has been helping out by renting space here; I am very grateful for his help and collegiality as we try to get through our important wait listed clients. That said Dr De Zordi is an independent player at this place. A hospital based clinician, our styles are very different. Do not hesitate to contact Andrea or myself if, despite us trying our best, there are questions yet to be answered or frustrations. Finally I am proud to launch my "travel-sure" service. A private service that enables travellers to contact me directly and immediately whilst holidaying via a dedicated phone line. I can provide them then phone advice appropriate to their dilemma as well as logistic assistance by way of my expanding database of quality clinics in the holiday hot-spots (Bali, Phuket , Europe etc.). We are seeing more and more children complaining of vague bloating and abdominal pain. Patients and parents are frustrated that previous labs testing and bloods testing is normal. It continues to amaze me how many such patients have returned positive to breath hydrogen testing for either a lactose or fructose intolerance. With this answer, they are provided with answers and help. With our GastroFit service, we offer Breath Hydrogen Testing for both Lactose and Fructose (that are foods sugars).
