Australian Swim Schools Association
Congratulations to the awesome 2016 Fairymead State Team. Our team of 17 swimmers competed in the individual events. Julia Baren, Paris Bell, Isaac Cooper, Harlan Cottle, Macson Cottle, Josh Finnis, Jaime Kreuger, Murray Macpherson, Hayley Penny, Cheynne Pyne, William Robertson, Connor Simms, Jordan Smith, Caleb Spark, Tobias Street, Alex and Xanthe Whitaker all represented Fairymead. Fairymead came home with 3 QLD Champions, 5 medal winners, national qualifying times and heaps of personal best times achieved. What a team to be proud of :) There are some really special results........ Jaimie Krueger: GOLD and Queensland Champion in the Girls 12 years 100m Free, 200m Free and 400m Free. BRONZE in the 200IM and 200mFly! Isaac Cooper: GOLD and Queensland Champion in the Boys 12 years 200IM, 100m Back, 200m Back, SILVER in the 100m Free! Macson Cottle: GOLD and Queensland Champion in the Boys 15 years 200m Breaststroke and SILVER in the boys 15 years 100m Breaststroke! Jordan Smith: SILVER in the boys 13 years 200m Freestyle and BRONZE in the boys 13 years 100m Freestyle. Connor Simms: SILVER in the boys 15 years 100m Freestyle in a great time of 53.19s. Congratulations to all swimmers and to Paul and Scott their awesome coaches. Three of our swimmers went up against the best and were the best! The Fairymead motto "Swim with the best". Fairymead ROCKS!!!

Bus is leaving for Bundy with some very happy swimmers aboard bound for home. Well be stopping at the big servo for dinner and should be back at BSA not long after 8pm.
