⭐️#SRCBTrivia is 2 days away! Have you secured your tickets yet?⭐️For those who have, we'd like you to meet your Quizmaster, Hally! Hailing from Canberra, he cast his recorder aside and picked up the clarinet in 1994, cutting his teeth on such classics as Eye of the Tiger and Peggy Sue. His clarinet education culminated in a highly-prized ACT Board of Secondary Studies Award for Performing Arts, which he immediately put to good use by joining the Canberra City Band’s world-renowned clarinet section in mid-2002. In other musical endeavours, Hally has played bass, baritone sax and accompanied primary school choirs with the only three guitar chords he knows. He sang first bass for the West Australian premiere of Schoenberg’s Gurrelieder, and once trod the boards in a forgettable turn as Ko-Ko in The Mikado. Hally can't be relied upon to answer any questions correctly or seriously on Saturday, so he has landed his job as Quizmaster by default. Jokes aside, we consider ourselves very lucky to have him as a member of SRCB. Please put your hands together for Hally! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Our conductor Jake promised the percussion section that if the Facebook page reached 110 likes this week they could add Cats to next year's repertoire. He also promised the trumpets if we reached 180 likes that we could take Cats off the repertoire list for next year... Now we're all in a conundrum but I'm pretty sure we can see where his tastes in music lie... 🐈🐈🐈
