Learn yoga, breathing and meditation techniques to decrease stress with Emma Ceolin HOLLAND PARK STUDIO - SOLD OUT ​Saturday May 20th 1:00pm - 3:00pm CBD STUDIO - JUST ADDED *new location* 129 Margaret St Friday June 9th 5:30pm - 7:30pm Anyone who suffers from anxiety and stress knows how debilitating it can be. Managing anxiety can be a constant silent challenger. It can create feelings of limited control, low self esteem, frustration, panic, fear and defeat. Whether you’re feeling anxious, stressed, overwhelmed or conflicted, this simple, easeful 2 hour workshop will take us on a journey to soften back into ourselves again. In this Yoga for Anxiety workshop we’ll learn practical tools to cultivate balance when faced with day-to-day challenges by working on calming the nervous system. We'll explore grounding practices and techniques that you can do at home, work or university to help alleviate stress and anxiety. Expect asana (poses), meditation, pranayama (breathing), mantra (repeating significant phrases) and aromatherapy. ​You’ll also be gifted with a take-home ‘Yoga for Anxiety’ pack including some tips and tricks to practice in your own time and a delicious homemade vegan treat!
