UPVC Double Glazed Window and Door Systems

Heat gain and loss through windows and doors account for up to half of a home’s heating and cooling needs. Our windows and doors are all Double Glazed with a clever design incorporating thermal chambers between the layers of glass and also within the frame itself.
The chamber separating the glass is 20mm wide, and filled with argon gas. Argon Gas has less convection than ordinary air, minimising the transfer of heat across the window.
Hidden within Enertec UPVC window frames are eight separate thermal chambers, including a core of steel, effectively keeping the inside layer and the outside layer of the frame out of contact. UPVC is also a non-conductive material, and will not convey heat or cold. This ensures that the transfer of heat through the frame of the window is virtually impossible.
There are no Gaps around Enertec Windows and doors. Our windows and doors are heat-welded together at the joints. The UPVC is melted together into a single structure preventing water and air from passing through. Then the completely sealed structure is attached to your house frame. This not only keeps your heat or cool inside, the seals also prevent insects and bugs from entering your home. Enertec windows do not require any extra money to be spent on cleaning – the UPVC is simply cleaned with a wipe of a cloth, and the clever design of Enertec windows and doors means you can now clean hard to reach outside windows from inside! This eliminates the need to spend money on specialist cleaning services and equipment.
