Still on the topic of things red... our Hitacino Red Rice beer is back! I absolutely love this stuff. Made from an ancient strain of red sake rice, it's a Japanese version of a Belgian beer - with a hint of strawberry amongst the sake & beer flavour. It looks like a bloke's glass of rose, however, it's proved to be extremely popular with girls who like beer - even some who wouldn't normally drink beer. It's the perfectly crafted drink - a work of art both inside & outside the bottle. Welcome back!

It's time for an ode to all things wonderful & red. Take our buffalo wings. They're a little bit tender, a little bit sweet, sticky, spicy & basically the most fun your mouth's had since your first successful kiss. There's no polite way to eat them whatsoever. They ain't healthy... but we believe in moderation in all things - including moderation. cheers & sticky fingers x

Last Tuesday night at Mamasan Surry Hills was incredibly special. Jonathan Zwartz, Mark Punch & Mark Collins made magic music in the basement. By the end of the gig most everyone was up on their feet dancing. The legend Frank Zappa once said: "Without music, life's just a series of dates by which bills must be paid." Their music enriched the lives of all who were there. If you missed it, you missed out - however... you've got another chance this Tuesday... however, you may have to leave the bubble, so please check that your passport hasn't expired! Stay tuned.
