Fit Tip #1; What better way to share fit tips in a numerical order than to start with the 1st thing you need to do before you workout. I HATE warming up - it is however crucial & necessary to avoid injury and also to perform your best. I stole this image from google images but it does encapsulate so many mistakes people make & the tips that are important. The main mistake people make is doing a warm up completely UNRELATED to their workout. The most important part of warming up is to ensure you mimic your movements. Walking on a treadmill or some other cardio activity isn't an ideal warm up if, for example, you are doing upper body weights session! You want to take light dumbbells, resistance bands and body weight exercises to mimic the exercises you are due to complete that session. Warm up the muscles you'll be using, engage the core and start with light weights to get the joints working.
