Curtin University is a proudly multicultural institution. People of all races, faiths and world views are welcome on our campuses so long as they behave in a way which is consistent with our values of integrity, respect, courage, excellence and impact. The University will investigate any incidents on its campuses in which our values do not appear to have been followed. This includes an exchange between two people yesterday which is now appearing on social media. Support is available to any members of the University community who may be concerned about this incident. University environments encourage reasoned debate in the context of a collegiate and supportive campus, and in accordance with our values. Yesterday was International Day of Peace which was celebrated on our Bentley campus with a range of activities. Curtin is proud to be one of the largest and most culturally diverse universities in Australia.
