Lifestyle Medicine Society is here to help you feel healthy, happy and energetic by offering lifestyle programs suited for you.  We truly believe humanity deserves better.
Following decades of research from world leading experts in lifestyle medicine, weight loss, chronic disease and more, we've created the Lifestyle Medicine Society.
OUR VISION
When it comes to food, we are living in a world of misinformation. Fast food giants, lobby groups and the weight loss industry often push products over evidence. We believe that Australians deserve better. By establishing the Lifestyle Medicine Society, our vision is to provide Australians with the truth about food, straight from gold-standard scientific studies and world-renowned experts, in language anyone can understand.

Once informed on the truth about food, people can start to change the obesogenic environment our society is currently living in.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to change the Australian obesogenic environment by helping at least 1.5 million people lose weight and keep it off within the next four years. This will be achieved by providing unique evidence-based programs.

HOW WILL WE ACHIEVE OUR MISSION?
We recognize that every person is different, with different needs, backgrounds, tastes and desires. We provide techniques that work with a truly individual approach. There are different programs available to suit everyone, even one that is free.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?

Our programs will give you more life in your years, and more years in your life. This is achieved through lifestyle changes, based on truthful information that will help you make achievable food changes and increases in your movement. At LMS, our aim is to inspire you into making small changes in your daily life, so you can feel better, healthier, stronger and more energetic. LMS is here as your reliable community, where you will always feel safe, supported and encouraged to become the best version of yourself.

We will remove the 'white noise' around healthy eating. Our goal is to search for the truth about food as it gets verified by science.

At all times we stay at arms length to products and treatments. Our only income will be generated from coaching, training and unraveling science – the stuff that works.

Members of the Lifestyle Medicine Society will receive:
The correct information, that's evidence-based only. The information provided has been vetted by some of the toughest critics.
Regular updates and reviews of information.
Evidence over ideology. The program is non-denominational (meaning it is separate from ideology and religion and only focused on the science of food and its impact on human beings).
About the Lifestyle Medicine Society (LMS) Healthy Weight Program for Women
The Lifestyle Medicine Society (LMS) healthy weight program has been developed under the auspices of the Australian Society for Lifestyle Medicine (ASLM), a non-profit professional organisation of GPs and Allied Health Professionals (see www.lifestylemedicine.org.au). It's a unique way for women to lose weight because it's focused on health, rather than weight. The weight loss will follow - but without the guilt or misgivings of most weight loss programs.
