Mobilising the Power of People at Flinders University to help those in developing countries lift themselves out of poverty and thrive Oxfam works to find practical, innovative ways for people to lift themselves out of poverty and thrive. Oxfam Australia has been fighting against poverty and injustice for over 60 years and continues to campaign for change in areas of Indigenous Rights, Workers Rights, Health, Education, Gender Equality, Climate Change and responding to emergencies with vital resources.
Oxfam changes lives for the better, and here at Oxfam Flinders University we hope to contribute to the amazing work Oxfam does towards education, awareness and fundraising the vital funds needed for Oxfam to continue supporting those who need it most.
Oxfam Flinders University will be holding events throughout the year to educate, engage and inspire fellow students to make positive steps towards a world without poverty. We want to be the change we need in this world and create a fairer and more equal planet. The power of people is incredible and together we can achieve the changes we want to see in the world, we’re all in this together so come along and join us ☺
