Our name, “Urban Paddock Co.” was chosen to celebrate the beautiful land that is Flinders University. The name was taken from a quote by a young Don Dunstan in 1963. When discussing where to put South Australia's 2nd university Dunstan was initially opposed to the current site, referring to the vacant land as “nothing but a suburban paddock”.
