Meet our talented Dress for Work client and future Police Officer, Joel! Joel is part of the Indigenous Police Recruitment Our Way Delivery Program. Joel popped in yesterday after successfully securing a position as a Service Officer at the Redfern Local Area Command with a suit from Dress for Work. Also, meet Jeanette - one of our amazing DFW staffers who managed to quickly hem up the pair of trousers (one of her many talents) so that Joel was able to take the trousers 1 hr later. Both the public and other services providers were very enthusiastic about the Dress for work presence and we hope to see some new friends at the Bankstown showroom soon!

STOP THE PRESS! Look how amazing our client, Alla looks! Alla arrived in 2016 from Syria as a humanitarian entrant and was referred to Dress for Work by our Settlement Services Officer, Maissa. Our SkillME team then informed him about the Transport NSW ‘Refugee Employment Initiative’ and now Alla is all set to apply for his very first position in Australia! Good luck Alla - we wish you all the very best!
