Coming up this week: Thursday 7pm at Hoyts Broadway- we're screening 3000 Nights. This film is about a Palestinian women who is incorrectly jailed and ends up having her baby in prison. A great film that's been acclaimed internationally. Friday 7pm at Hoyts Bankstown- We're screening 'A Big Shot' an action, drama film about a drug dealer who makes a film. Saturday 6pm at Hoyts Bankstown- we're screening Chi Youm Rah Fel, a drama film featuring Adel Karem. Saturday 9pm at Hoyts Bankstown- we're screening Tramontane, a film about a blind musician that finds out his ID is fake, so he goes on a journey around Lebanon to find his real identity. Sunday from 12.30pm, screening of a mix of short films and documentaries at 2pm, 3.30pm, 4.45pm and 5.45pm. All tickets are $10 Sunday 7.45pm at Bankstown Sports: The Prophet documentary (with a short film). Tickets are $10
Welcome to LFF
The Lebanese Film Festival kicks off this Friday night with an Lebanese style cocktail party at 7pm, Bankstown Sports Club. Tickets are $80 and include Lebanese food, beer, wine, specially made deserts, Bankstown Poetry Slammers, Special Guest, Nick Bracks, and a most importantly, screening of three great short films.
