We've loved serving our regulars and visitors alike - we've enjoyed the banter and feedback, and working with the best view on the coast. A special mention to our wonderful staff. We've had great chefs who rock up and prep hours in advance, do the work you never see and look after the place when we're not here. Also, the kids we've had looking after the floor, washing up, working in the kitchen and helping out at functions - for most of them it's been their first job and they've managed to fit it in between school work, full-on training regimes for the club and patrols on the beach - making salads by night, saving lives by day! They've done us and themselves proud.

We're sad to announce that Jaws is closing down shortly. Our last day of trade will be Tuesday 28th February. Thanks for all your support over the last few years - we've had a blast and have loved looking after our regulars and visitors alike. We would love to see you all up there before stumps!

Congratulations to every one of the Avoca Beach Nippers that competed at Umina yesterday. They gave their all despite the 40 degree heat, masses of sea lice and sand so hot it blistered their feet. They came away as Branch Champions again. Well done superstars!!

Just a reminder that we will be closed on Australia Day. We will be open tomorrow and Friday as usual. Next week will be a big one for many children - the start of Kindy, the move to High School, or just a new school year - so come and celebrate (or possibly commiserate?) the end of the school holidays with us!
