This is a scenario based on a person having a heart attack in a parkrun event, the content covers the parkrun Chain of Survival and is a training and awareness video. Who's joining us for our 2nd birthday tomorrow? We look forward to celebrating with all our parkrun friends. A reminder to bring a small plate to share if you can. Also a reminder to bring your barcode - we'd hate for you to run a PB and not be able to record your time...
Who wants to help out on our 2nd birthday... we're on the lookout for a barcode scanner this Saturday
Well done to the awesome 116 parkrunners who completed today's event in near perfect conditions. A special shout out to Sonja Jenkinson, who completed her 50th parkrun today. Results have now been processed and should appear in your inboxes shortly. We look forward to seeing you all at our 2nd birthday celebrations next week. If you would like to bring a small plate (fruit, cake, lollies, etc) to help us celbrate you're more than welcome. Finally, if you find being a volunteer a totally awesome experience, then why not take it to the next level and join our event team as a Run Director. It's fun, easy and it wont take up too much of your valuable time. We have a few spots open, so if you're keen, we'd love to have you. Enjoy the rest of your weekend....
