Albury Wodonga parkrun
Description
parkrun is a FREE, weekly, timed 5km event held each Saturday at 8am at Hovell Tree Park, Albury. Open to runners of all levels. Albury Wodonga parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 8am starting 8 March 2014.
parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5k timed run and it can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan.
It offers an opportunity for all the local community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy the beautiful surrounds and get physically active at the same time. We want to encourage people to jog or
run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE!

**UPCOMING VOLUNTEERS** Firstly, thank you to everyone who puts their name down on the roster on Saturday's. We have a print out of the roster available at each event for you to put your name on and we find this works really well! You can also email us your preferred date and position at any time. Please remember, where possible to include your parkrun ID number. This is the number on your barcode, starting with A. In order to add you to our roster and ensure you receive the email and are recognised for your contribution we must add you through our IT system. When we do so, we are actually using parkrun's world wide database! So, if we are looking up your name (eg, John Smith), you can imagine how many results come up! This is a timely exercise, but also not a particularly accurate one! How do we know we are selecting the correct John Smith...??? This is even more difficult when you only include part of your name (see highlighted E.Green) or we cant quite read it. If we look up your ID number, we know we have the correct person :) Happy Days! At the moment, we have two volunteers we cannot locate on our system as highlighted. 1) E. Green 2) Looks to be Racheal Bulter (no results can be found) If this is you, could you please email us alburywodongahelpers@parkrun.com or comment below.
