Wilson Brewing Company aims to deliver locally owned and brewed craft beer to the local Albany and tourism markets. Currently there is no option for Albany patrons and tourists alike, to purchase a craft beer that is brewed locally and supports local businesses and primary / speciality producers. Local wineries, vineyards and wine orientated activities are a feature of Albany and the surrounding areas. Contrary to wine, beer can be produced pretty much anywhere, and very close to where customers actually are. This proximity enables more interaction.
This is what makes craft beer so special. The whole process, and final product, has the ability to engage consumers in a way that its industrial counterparts simply can’t. Consumers are putting increasing value on knowing where their products have come from, and craft beer nearly always comes with a great story from a person passionate about their profession
We believe our locally owned and operated micro -brewery builds on established tourism to offer another avenue of experience and produce to locals and tourists, adding to the overall experience of Albany by highlighting local produce and events.
Using as much of our own home grown, local and Australian products as possible, Wilson Brewing Company supports the direct local and larger Australian craft beer market, specifically focusing on building the craft beer profile of Albany. A craft brewery is primary and secondary industry supportive, meaning it creates local employment opportunities and is community intensive in its nature, utilising and contributing to, many other businesses around it. We believe in investing our money, our products and our support back into the community to further promote Albany as a tourist destination.
Wilson Brewing Company hope to provide a consistent, high quality, local product that can stand the test of time and invest in the future development of the Albany Tourist Region.

Completing the Wilsons Set, The Light House Session Ale. Sitting at a lovely 3.6% abv Lighthouse Session Ale is designed for the drinker who is chasing a tasty craft beer with half the alcohol. This doesn't mean half the flavour ! Brewed with the smooth bitterness of Ella and a very light dry hop of cascade, lighthouse is an easy drinking beer that is light on the palette yet still delicious. Now on Tap, Lost Sailor Dark Ale 🍻 One for the true dark ale drinker, this beer tricks your palette by being extremely refreshing and light to drink. A moderate bitterness offsets the sweetness of the darker malts with hints of tropical fruit lingering in the background. Lost Sailor Dark Ale is a true favourite of Wilson Brewing Company with a twist on a traditional dark beer.
