What is Plan Management? Plan management supports you to manage your NDIS plan by paying for and monitoring the funded supports on your behalf. This means that you will have more time to achieve your goals and live your life without needing to process claims through the Portal. The Mercy NDIS Plan Management service is like having your own personal accountant - we ensure that you have the flexibility of using services of your choice including non NDIA registered providers, paying your invoices, creating service bookings and issuing monthly statements. How does Plan Management work? 1. With support from your Support Coordinator (if you have one), you choose the services or businesses you want to employ, and gather costings and/or quotes for services to be provided; 2. You send these details to the Plan Manager, for confirmation that: a. There is relative budget for these costs; b. That the provider/business is a legitimate business or provider eligible for payments; c. That the service is being costed in accordance with NDIA pricing guide regulations. 3. The Plan Manager confirms with you that the service and costs are suitable & provides confirmation whether or not to proceed with the booking of supports; 4. You then engage the service or business to complete works or service. 5. Following completion of the work/ service, the business sends the invoice directly to the Plan Manager to handle (with adherence to current GST requirements) 6. The Plan Manager confirms with you that the work/ service has been performed/ delivered to your satisfaction; 7. If so, the Plan Manager creates the service booking and facilitates payment of the invoice 8. Each month, the Plan Manager issues an itemised statement so you are up to date at all times.
