Through imaginative play, children learn about the world around them. We want kids to be kids! I have 2 young girls - nicknamed Sweetpea and Bunny. They are my world and I love watching them play and come up with new and exciting worlds when they do.
A simple cape - and they are saving the world.
Finger puppets - they are role playing.
Wands and wings - a ballerina or a fairy dancing.
We have so many toys. Bursting at the seams! Yet the ones they ALWAYS come back to are the ones that let them use their imagination.

Miss 4 has been awake since 4am... all because Disney on Ice in on today! Dressed by 8am (as Anna )... must admit that I am a little excited too!
For the first time in a LONG time, I got to the movies and saw Captain America - and enjoyed it immensely! What was the last movie you saw or is on your wish list? (I'll admit it - I do want to see Bad Mom's!)
Easter is fast approaching! Why not make the Easter Egg hunt a little faster and fly through it! My Sweetpea is already talking about where she will look and it is the Bunny's first hunt so we are going to have fun here this year!
So school goes back tomorrow in SA - some other states have already gone back! Is your little one starting for the first time? My Sweetpea starts Kindy on Tuesday and she is BEYOND excited!
In a little over 2 days I return to full time work (of the office variety - the mum job will always be there!) Should I have a sale to celebrate/console? How does 2 capes for $22 sound?!
