Not a bad haul for the first night of the State Championships. 4 fights 4 wins. Stephen Finey 75kg elite champion, Adrian Camarrano 69kg elite champion, Rebecca Daniels, 64kg elite womens champion. Michael Koshi won his first fight in the 69kg mens novice and now moves into the finals. Christo Nickolas will be fighting in the 60kg junior finals. Very proud of our athletes and their achievements tonight. Great work by our coaching staff.

The new 2017 64kg ELITE Woman's State Champion, Rebecca Daniels. Rebecca had a great fight tonight against a tough opponent from NSW. Rebecca will now be off to compete at the Australian Titles early November. Great performance from Bec tonight, back to training Monday.👏🏼🥊 #FTG #statechampionships

Good Luck today to Terry Nickolas and Adrian Cammerano who head to Brisbane with 5 other SA State members headed by State Coach and FTG Head coach Paul Panos. Both lads are taking bouts outside of their weights of 69kg to get some comp rounds in before Nationals in November. These guys have trained like machines so the prepartion is there. Good luck guys.
