Say hello to Nala 🐶 She’s a bright and playful Labrador that visited us a while ago to be spayed. Here she is during her post-op check, having just been told by the vet that she’s recovering well! 😛

This is Jemma, she's another stray who came to us from a member of the public. She's a friendly cat, and was not injured or sick when she was brought to us. She does have a microchip but the details don't seem to have been updated and sadly, we can't reach her owner. Her chip was registered in Bury, so we think her owner may have moved house. Please help us to find Jemma's owner by sharing this post, or if you think you know this cat, then please call our Bolton practice.

Ivan is a very sweet and affectionate cat that was found by a member of the public in Bolton with an injury to his tail. He was originally wearing a blue collar. He required surgery to remove his tail so now it's a bit stumpy! While he was under anesthesia he was neutered at the same time. The RSPCA helped to pay for his surgery, and he is now recovering well and is pain-free. We're going to continue to monitor Ivan for another week to make sure he's ok. Please help us to find his owner in the meantime by sharing this post! If you know this cat please call our Bolton practice.

Last week we had the pleasure of seeing Blue for his first vaccination! 🐶 He’s only 8 weeks old, and was so well behaved for his injection. We can’t wait to see him again soon to complete his puppy vaccination course! 😃

What a difference a scale and polish can make! 😁✨ Rebel’s owner took advantage of the Dental offer at our Ellesmere Port practice and you can see the difference that it’s made. Not only are his teeth nice and white, but a scale and polish allows us to remove plaque under the gums, and can help relieve your pet of their bad breath too!

This week we were visited by Ada, a Shih Tzu who had given birth to a litter of six puppies 🐾 🐾 🐾 We saw the puppies and their mum when they were only one day old! Doesn’t Ada look so happy! 🐶

We recommend that you brush your pet’s teeth as often as you can. Routinely brushing your pet's teeth will definitely benefit them in the long run! 😬 🐈 🐩 🐕 Brushing helps to prevent the build up of plaque and tartar, which helps to prevent gum disease. It also helps to reduce the likelihood of other common dental problems, such as bad breath, gum recession and rotten teeth. If you need advice on how's best to brush your pet's teeth, take a look at the video on our page!

Bella is a toy poodle, which is one of the smaller breeds that unfortunately suffer with worse teeth. She recently visited Animal Trust for a dental. 🐩😬 Here we can see Bella’s teeth before and after her Dental with us. As most of her teeth were rotten (13 were missing already 🙊), she had to have a whopping 11 teeth taken out! As you can see by the image on the right, her mouth is now looking much better and you can even see that she's got some nice white teeth! Bella will now have a pain-free mouth. She won’t be bothered by the constant pain of her damaged teeth and infected gums. Pets do very well without their teeth. They can still eat biscuits and often don't need to change their diet at all! 🐶🍽️
