"Michigan's Best Burger Since 1923!" Halo Burger is one of the oldest hamburger chains in the United States. Originally called Kewpee, we served our first hamburger in 1923 out of a boxcar-style wagon on Harrison Street in Downtown Flint, Michigan.

There we invented the world's first "deluxe" hamburger with 100% fresh, never-frozen beef, pressed on a searing hot grill till perfectly browned and juicy – the same way we make them today! We're also known for cult favorites like the Olive Burger and the Boston Cooler, made with local Vernors® Ginger Ale.
