Sundance Lodges opened in 1992 with four staff, 30 regular campsites and 30 tipis = 12 large (four beds) and three small (two beds).

Today, Sundance Lodges has 30 regular campsites, 9 large tipis, 3 small ones and 18 trappers tents.

Each tipi is on a secluded site in the forest decked out with wood framed beds, a hard wood floor, a heater and lantern, a picnic table and fire pits with a half grill. The Trading Post is located in the middle of the campground offering hot showers, flush toilets, groceries, giftwear and even the internet. The trappers tents have been a huge sucess and are just like the tipis, only they are shaped like a cabin.

Sundance is open from May long weekend until the end of September and is primarily a family campground.
