Sad, but I’m not surprised. In order to change, us wee band of celebrants need to take on the government and the church and get them to relinquish their hold on the marriage laws.

Thank you to the blushing bride Karen Vaughan for sharing the photos from hers and Steve's bespoke vow renewal ceremony I had the absolute honour of taking last year. The 1950's fairground theme was as outrageous and fun as it sounds!

It's such a shame that so many now set themselves up as a celebrant, but without the right training, qualifications or professional registration, people risk being badly let down on a day that should leave them memories to treasure forever for all the right reasons.
