Groupe de musique néo-soul/world progressif avec des notes de pop/rock et trip-hop.
Guitare afro, violoncelle revisité, grooves et percussions raffinés, voix libre et chaleureuse.

LALAO est né de la rencontre de trois musiciens :
- YANNICK JACQUET (Violoncelle/Piano/Lead vocal) (FR)
- ROMAIN GARCERA (Drum/percussions/vibraphone/vocals) (FR)
- JOEL RABESOLO (guitar electric/guitar folk/vocals) (Madagascar)
Après s'être côtoyés à de diverses reprises sur la scène Bruxelloise, ils décident d'exploiter leur complicité naturelle et forment le groupe.
Leurs compositions se nourrissent d'influences ayant jalonnées leur parcours humain et musical.
Ces diverses aspirations les amenent a créer un univers original et atypique, axé autour de chansons Pop élégantes , à l'accent Néo-soul.

After having interceded on various occasions on the Brussels stage, they decide to exploit their natural complicity and form the group.
Their compositions feed on influences that have marked their human and musical journey.
These various aspirations lead them to create an original and atypical universe, centered around elegant Pop songs, with a Neo-soul accent
