I used to ask myself this questions until life brought me the circumstances that taught me how to keep my focus on my dreams and goals and gave me experiences to test whether or not I would face all this with a smile on my face.

It wasn't easy and there were definitely times when I wanted to give up.  But I kept my faith and believed that no matter what everything would eventually turn out just fine.
