This is me ... Erin Kinder - yes that's my last name. I was born and raised here in Davidson although I moved away for a decade or so.... got around 40 stamps in my passport at some point along the way, earned a degree in Business Marketing then brought home a kiwi husband to farm on the Canadian prairies. I'm a Scorpio and turn 41 this year! Last year I celebrated 40 by doing a girls trip to Sri Lanka. I love living in a small community. My camera shy husband and I have three awesome free range kids. In the winter you can usually find me at the rink - either with my kids hockey or on my own ladies team “Babes on Blades.” I don't do anything in halfs. I grew up in a very entrepreneurial family so having my own business is fabulous. We had truck stops so I waitressed for years. Probably for you if you stopped in Davidson in the 90s. I’m the toughest boss I ever had. I never really thought of myself as artist or creative but as I get older I think I am - just in other ways. I love doing antique displays and taking photos. I always just use my iPhone 8 but I want to get a “real” camera. If you can recommend a good one please tell me. Anyways, that’s a bit about me, well actually a lot. I can’t wait to meet you in the barn and learn your story. Thanks for being part of mine. 💗 Open Wednesday’s 11-3 and Sundays 11-4 now through to end of October.

On your summer bucket list ...... hurry up!! I’m adding some extra hours on Wednesday’s from 11-3 for anyone wanting to make a trip out mid week. Still open Sundays 11-4. Dress warm not pretty.... the barn isn’t heated. I’m planning on staying open til end of October depending on the weather.

Erin Gust you really are fearless. I’m so proud to have you as my sister in law, and more importantly my friend. Together, with our amazing community of Davidson, SK, our friends, family, and Kinder Surprises team we’ve raised $7750. The money we raised for the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada is dedicated to reaching every Canadian affected by a Brain Tumour through support, education, information, and critical research. Thank you to all of you for your pledges, prayers, and positive vibes. And Jack Semple Music there wasn’t a dry eye in the shop after Hallelujah. Your music is incredible. Like any good farm family we’re adapting for the weather and onto plan C. My barn will be open all day today from 11-4 but the actual Jack Semple Concert and Fundraiser will be at Gust Farm shop. The Shop is located in Gerrid & Monica Gust’s yard. Same road as my farm is on. It’s the big black and white house just as you to turn onto road 747. Second yard on the left. (You’ll see tons of bins, tractors, etc). Jack Semple will be playing there at 2:00. A donations table and pledges can be made there or at the barn. Hope you’re able to stop at both the shop and the barn. 💗 (This is my brother Billy and my sister in law Erin Gust who is battling Brain cancer with their 3 kids)
